How long does it take to deliver my order?

Normally, it takes 3 to 5 weeks to make and deliver our prom dresses, ball gowns, cocktail dresses and evening dresses.

If you require your dress urgently please contact us and we will inform you of current delivery times.   Generally we can accommodate urgent requests using our fastrack service, where delivery would be around 2-3 weeks.

How much will shipping cost?

Shipping on dresses is £9.99 per dress for the UK, £14.99 per dress for Europe and £24.99 per dress for the rest of the world.  Shipping is done either via Royal Mail, signed for or by courier. A signature is required upon receipt of your order.

Do you have a dress in stock for immmediate dispatch?

Our dresses are all made especially to order for each individual customer and we generally do not carry stock.

What happens if nobody is home when the dress is delivered

If you are not available to take delivery of your dress it will be taken to your local Royal Mail depot or courier depot and you can arrange redelivery or collection at a time to suit you.

How can I be sure my dress will be delivered on time?

We will keep you up to date with the progress of your order and will inform you of any delays, in the unlikely event that issues arise.

We are always available on the phone or email should you wish to check the progress of your order.

What happens if my dress does not fit me?

Our dresses are made to order for you size and therefore it should fit.   Our measurement wizard takes you through a step by step process, showing you how to easily measure yourself correctly.

We will always confirm the order, sizes and colour via email when you place your order.

If there is an error in the sizing of your dress where the fault is ours, i.e. not made to the measurements you provided, you will be offered a full refund or a replacement dress using our Fast Track service.

If, in the unlikely event that there are minor alterations required on the dress when it arrives, we will provide a "seamstress voucher" up to the value of £30.  This will be paid to you on the production of a receipt from your chosen, local seamstress.

Will the dress be exactly the same colour as the colour shown on the colour charts?

Our colour charts are accurate on our PC's however colours may appear different on other PC's as they are affected by the PC's settings. This could mean that there will be a discrepancy in the colour shown on the website and the actual colour of the material. If you want to make sure that you are purchasing an exact colour match it is advisable to order some material swatches as these will show you the actual colour and quality of the material.

Material swatches are priced at £5, but we refund this amount to you if you place an order via a discount voucher when you order your dress.

Can you make a dress to the customers own design?

Yes.  Please send us the pictures of the dress and we will give you a quote and delivery time.

What are the measurements required?

Measurements required are:

  • Bust (important. Please measure the widest part of your bust [across nipples] and please wear a bra when measuring this part. Please note that the bust measurement is not the bra size.
  • Under bust
  • Waist
  • Hips
  • Distance between nipples,
  • Top of the shoulder to nipple.
  • Dress length measured from the top of the shoulder (next to the neck) to the floor including your shoe height.

Please ensure that you do not pull the tape measure tight when doing your measurements.

Other measurements may be required for particular styles and will be requested when an order is placed or advised before hand if an enquiry is made. 

If you have any questions about measurement please do not hesitate to contact us or see the diagrams on our measurement wizard.

Please provide us with the exact measurements (fitted) and we will add a bit extra room where we know it is required in the style of dress you have chosen.  Please do not give smaller measurements as in our experience some customers believe they will lose some weight before the function day and end up with the dress being too small.

Can I change the length shown on each dress?

Yes, all dresses can be made shorter or longer as required.

Can I change my dress measurements?

Yes. All our dresses are made to each customer’s measurements to ensure a perfect fit at no additional cost.   If you need to change your dress measurements, please let us know straight away.  Dress measurements can only be changed up to a week after your order has been placed for normal delivery and up to 3 days for fast track delivery.

Where are you in the UK ? Do you have a shop that I can try your dresses on?

We are based in Sheffield and are now solely an online business.  However, that does not mean that you can't get in touch if you need us.  Simply send us an email or give us a call.

Is payment secure?

We offer a choice of payment options from secure, online payment with Protx or PayPal to payment over the phone or by cheque or postal order.

Can I return the dress?

We offer a returns policy if the dress we make and send is the wrong size, wrong style or wrong colour or other errors by us (i.e. not as ordered).  If the dress arrives damaged please contact us immediately.  It is a costly and time consuming process to make dresses for individual customers therefore we can not accept “the style does not suit me” as a reason for returning a dress.
